About this course

You will be working with national experts and key opinion leaders who are skilled
in the creative and person-centred approach to leg ulcer and pressure wound
management. Our course contributors regularly present their work at conferences
and events in the wound management and anatomy arenas and are recognised as
innovators and leaders in their field.

 

The programmes combines the best of blended learning with a mix of virtual and face to face sessions at Accelerate Academy, Hackney, London in our the cutting-edge facilities – The Centre for Learning & Excellence.

 

Virtual sessions – will be held using the MS Teams virtual learning environment (VLE) with informative webinars, discussion, JAM boards, Q & A and one to one sessions.

 

All the support you need – we have an Academy Moderator who’ll support you in digitally preparing for the course should you need assistance.

  5. Identify the tools used in sharp debridement and demonstrate sharp debridement techniques, including safe use and disposal of sharps
  6. Discuss the ethical and legal responsibilities and implications related to sharp debridement
  7. Consider interprofessional working to improve outcomes for patients with complex wounds
